The warm sandy-cream field shows a central, tall “tree of life" with four large ragged palmettes growing from volute and forked vines, and terminating in a palmette finial with strongly curved back stems. Red spandrels with bold green accents. Strip-style navy main border with red and green reversing elements. Sandy cream outer plain border has been reduced at top end. Finely woven on cotton. Good condition overall. NW Persian urban work.
