This late 19th century NW Persian urban niche layout scatter features a shaped and pointed sand field, centred by a slender pole tree topped by a blossom triplet, edged by two half cypresses and based on a vase, Near black floral spandrels and near black strip style main border with reversing palmettes. Generally assigned to the “Hajji Jalili†period with a cotton foundation, fine weave and short, brushy pile. Good condition. Somewhat restrained overall palette.
