Gives off a Bidjar vibe at first glance, but it actually is a city carpet with an open copper red abrashed field centred by a navy hexagonal medallion with double pendants. Light blue lower corners extend to narrow side bands. Ecru spandrels at opposite end. Near black border with reversing poppies or pomegranates.. Numerous minor borders with various foliate repeats. Very unusual design with attractive palette. Well-woven with an upright pile. Cotton foundation. Good condition.
