This C. 1900 NW Persian urban scatter presents an abrashed cream to straw field closely covered by a small scale allover Herati design, centred by a lightly stepped rust medallion en suite in pattern. Stepped straw=sad corners. Near black strip-style main border with plamettes, rosettes and a budding meander connecting it all. Contrast of light filigree field and bold, darer borders, Well-woven, on cotton. Good condition.
