The allover relatively small Herati design covers the navy field ad corners, coral red sub-field ad small ecru hexagonal central medallion equally densely. The Herati is probably the design of choice for modern Kurdish city Bidjar weavings. The format is an unusually long scatter, almost a kellegi (long) rug. Ecru border with reversing turtles separated by rosettes and double barbed sickle leave. Cotton foundation with extreme packing of knot rows. Medium weave, board-like handle. Recent.
