This red ground, allover pattern NW Persian rustic carpet shows a characteristic layout of symmetrically barbed or serrated ecru leaves, along with six petal ragged palmettes and a central axis of reflected double palmettes, all with navy, teal, pale blue , medium blue and rust-red accents. Navy border with rosettes and square-bodied turtles. Medium-coarse rustic weave, cotton foundation. Good condition. Light reduction at one end.
