Vintage Persian Silk Qum. This is an unusual piece from the Shrine City with broken, tented, barbed leaves supporting bunches of jagged flowers, on a sand ground. The light blue border shows petal palmettes set within ragged acanthus leaves. The design is unidirectional and the urban weave is quite fine. Unsigned.
