In a Persian 2m. by 3m. size, this NW Persian city carpet shows a cream field with inward projecting vasiform corners, and a red sub-field filled with little leaves and flowers. Pale blue vase-pendanted medallion with a near black cruciform centre. Light straw strip-style border with palmette and flower connected modules. Well-woven on cotton. Good condition.
