A roughly six by eight close array of square flower and bird modules closely covers the near black field of this unusual west Persian village scatter. Although similar in design, the individual modules subtly change colour throughout. Rose, straw and cream are among the detail tones. Narrow border system with boteh pattern guards flanking an ivory palmette and floret stem main stripe. Good condition, shorter pile, cotton foundation.
