This finely knotted central Persian city scatter shows eight offset rows of flower-filled vases on an ecru field, with smaller vases and pairs of perching birds. This is a well-executed version of the Zil-ul-Sultan (“Shadow of the Sultanâ€) design developed in the later 19th century. Cream rosette main border and cream reciprocal minor borders. Cotton foundation, short and upright pile. Good condition.
