A sky blur indented diamond medallion dominates the twice inched ecru field with navy millefleurs corners and half-pendants. Vasiform pendants. Strategically placed rosettes. Straw border with rosettes and tilted corner palmettes. Excellent, velvety Manchester-spun Merino wool. Crisp natural dyes. Fine urban weave on cotton. A Mohtasham scatter of the second generation in which scale paper cartoons are the standard practice. This rug is exceedingly well drawn without being in the least bit formulaic. Good condition.
