A Heriz version of the famous Harshang (“Crabâ€) pattern on a camel-tone ground with three columns of palmettes, rosettes and acanthus-oak leaves, in dark blue, light blue, rust, teal and cream. Abrashed iight blue strip style main border with reversing turtles. Cotton foundation, moderate weave. The pattern is not centralized, but slipped toward the ends, giving it more vitality. Good condition. A very attractive carpet with a stylistic twist on the usual.
