This is a finely woven, Interwar Kashan scatter still employing Manchester-spun wool, from the 1920-30 period. The uncommon royal blue field shows a detached floral spray pattern in the “American Sarouk†manner, within a medium blue and rose compound border featuring vases and flowers. Velvety surface, fine weave, cotton foundation. Good condition.
